SPONSORS

Sponsors are corporations, churches, businesses, or individuals who provide funds to help a team compete in the World Bible Championship.

The Sponsor or Representative of the Sponsor is invited to attend the Gala evening events. All Sponsors will be noted at the first evening celebration.

Each team is encouraged to seek, recognize, and express appreciation to sponsors.

Several ways to obtain a sponsorship:

  • Talk with the pastors of local churches.

  • Check with local Christian radio stations and Christian bookstores.

  • Ask Bible related clubs.

  • Introduce yourself to local business owners with an interest in the Bible.

  • One of your members may be acquainted with a leader at a large corporation in your area.
Once a sponsorship has been obtained, the team would reference that sponsorship as part of its name or logo.

SCHOLARSHIPS

A scholarship is a private donation to an individual, covering all or part of the cost for the World Bible Championship. This might be from another individual, church, local business, or corporation. Scholarships can be combined from different organizations.

For Sponsors and Scholarships

There are several items that must be included as sponsorships and scholarships are elicited.
  • The value of the sponsorship or scholarship must be explained, as well as what is being achieved by the individual, and what the goal is for the team and community.

  • Reasons why the company, individual, or church should be a sponsor or donate to a scholarship fund.

  • Reasons why they will benefit from donating.
Sample letters for churches, corporations, or individuals are available at the Los Angeles executive office. Please contact the office for these samples.
